Since the late 2000s, Astero Leathers invested in Leather Care products and expertise. We are now the leading experts in Cyprus for restoring leather products, including but not limited to jackets and other garments, furniture, handbag and other accessories.
Leather care includes repainting, cleaning and protective coats on all types of leather.
Services available include:
- Repairing small leather fractures.
- Repainting of leather handbags.
- Repainting of leather clothing, including Trousers, Skirts, Jackets and Coats.
- Restoration of leather furniture.
The tasks for repairing leather are decided on a case by case basis, but in general, include:
- The leather is cleaned from lipids and dirt.
- Scraping old leather paint.
- Fixing and restoring damages and minor leather damage.
- Introducing a polymer.
- Several coats of paint are then added depending on the damage and colors required.
- A final protecting coat is added.
Please note that all repair tasks imply a relative small risk. This risk includes not exactly matching the older colour, damage to leather and other expected risks which are inherent when repainting, scraping and other tasks.
